Since their inception in 2011, our eastside chapter has been relentlessly beside us raising awareness and funding for Ben Towne Foundation and the research happening at the Ben Towne Center. Their energy and enthusiasm are boundless – their ideas and vision inspiring. To say we have been grateful for this group of women (and their families) would be a vast understatement. In just two short years together they have contributed and raised over $100,000 towards our mission. And now you can help them!
On Saturday, October 12, 2013 they are hosting a 5 /10k run and walk at Marymoor Park in Redmond!
It is not too late to sign up! Our family will be participating – Jeff in the 10k run and Ryan in the kid’s fun run. Ryan has already asked what you get when you win. I told him you get the pleasure of knowing that you helped support the foundation by just doing it. His response, “But what about a medal?” (this seems to be a running theme in our house, as he also asked if he can win a medal in kindergarten – for what I wondered? scissors? your abc’s???) I’ll be on hand to dry his five year old tears after he gets crushed by a ten year old. Anyways, it promises to be a fun filled day and we hope to see many of you there!

Many thanks to Sunrise Identity and all the sponsors who have come alongside our eastside chapter to make this happen!
