Thank you to everyone who attended our holiday open houses at glassybaby yesterday! It was fun to see so many lovely friends/supporters and to witness all the beautiful, colorful votives fly off the shelves in the name of Ben Towne Foundation. What a way to ring in the holidays! Thanks to Callie’s Coffee, Macrina Bakery and LePanier, for their delicious contributions – as well as Kendall, Jesse and Lauree for your time and efforts. Stay tuned on Facebook for pictures from both locations courtesy of Bryce Covey Photography and Gravrock Photography!
For those of you outside the Seattle area, or for those of you who were unable to attend, we wanted to let you know that glassybaby has released a special code just for us, which will allow you to participate in our holiday partnership! Between now and December 15th, glassybaby will donate 10% of any web purchases to Ben Towne Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation. Simply enter ‘ben’ in the giving code field of the shopping cart and click ‘apply’.
glassybaby was founded by a three time cancer survivor and has donated more than one million dollars to charities dedicated to healing and supporting cancer patients. These gorgeous votives are handmade by artists in 400+ colors, 400+ unique names like ‘joy’, ‘hope’, ‘friendship’, ‘mistletoe’. Some of my favorite colors that I saw purchased yesterday were ‘elf’, ‘red licorice’, and ‘remembrance’.
And of course between now and the end of December, 10% of all ‘rudolph‘ glassybaby sales will be donated to Ben Towne Foundation to support cutting edge research at the Ben Towne Center for Childhood Cancer Research as well.
Thank you to glassybaby for making this possible!
A reminder that there are three upcoming events at the Pan Pacific Hotel this month. Come enjoy more shopping and holiday cocktails!
On behalf of everyone at Ben Towne Foundation… thank you and Happy Holidays!
